The Swaglands is situated in the red heart of Australia, and is where A Film We’re All Writing is set, an ongoing narrative inspired by the streets of New Jersey and the music written there. Philly created the conceptual landscape as a demonstrative template for ecologically enlightened and emotionally exploratory living. Manifesting scenarios and characters that exist as both an entry point for investigating environmental and social issues, and as an aesthetic imaginative experience, Philly’s work constantly plays with and tests the crossover between the imagined and the real; the truly perceived and the prejudged.
